With this in mind, we hope to create opportunities to work with teachers to develop confidence in delivering the music curriculum.

Continual Professional Development (Primary School)

We aim to inspire teachers to plan systematic, progressive lessons that nurture children’s creativity. Such lessons could complement current school topics and aid progression towards a secondary school music curriculum.
CPD Activities:

Shadowing Music PPA Cover (working 1-1 with teacher e.g Music Co-Ordinator)

Peer-Peer observation of teaching practice and planning alongside teacher (working 1-1 with teacher e.g Music Co-Ordinator)

Delivering whole school staff training on structuring a music lesson (2 hours)

We offer PPA music cover in line with your school’s current curriculum aims - this could be the use of Charanga, Collins Music, SingUp, or other like minded schemes. ​
We also offer a bespoke curriculum delivery; we will review your school’s whole school curriculum and progressive plan lessons to complement this structure. These lessons will be planned alongside our current Peek School of Music curriculum.
